The sun rises over the horizon
A sight without comparison
Birds singing in the air
As fields lay bare
Children playing outside
While mummies cooking inside
Everything seems so fair
Yet, still, why does life feel so unfair?

When I stand up for truth
I am often misunderstood
Feelings of unworthiness
Always viewed as craziness
The heart is aching
While loneliness is overwhelming
Feelings heel with time
Yet, then, why are scars for a lifetime?

Thought parents lived unselfish lives
But reality unveils their wilds
Crocodile tears for personal gain
Forsaking a daughter's pain
Treachery & lies for a good name
Kids advertised as witches for fame
In due time sin shall give them their own blows
Yet, surprisingly, why am I forced to live with their flows?
