You Poem by Michael Arnold

You

If I liken you to a summer's day
You will say I copied Shakespeare.
If I liken you to a red rose
You will say I am a flatterer.
If I say you are the most beautiful
Woman in the whole world
You will say I lie.
So I will not liken you to anything.
You are you, I love you.
