You Poem by Jayla Gary

You

As I pass by the tall trees all I can think about is you
And how you forgot to call
When I pass by the pink little flowers still blooming in spring
My mind moves to you,
And  how I thought  about you for hours
About your brown dirt skin
And how I'll win
you over
Though I doubt you'd ever lower your standards.
As the sky gets darker I wonder more and more about your black sweater
The one that looks a bit like mine but better
When I pass the light blue ocean that I can barely see through the dark of night
I think of how your voice flows with such delight
But when I head home to my bright yellow house
I think of your personality and fright to get to know it
Please
I beg, never ruin my sight of you
Even if it means I never know you like they do
Yes, I'm aware its not right.
