You - Poem by Judith Campbell

Somehow
you came in
into my heart
Heart of pale blue
Blew to the Core
And stayed
Stayed in a part
part of my Heart
Heart of pale blue
Blew in and stayed
And brayed
Brayed at the start
Start at a tug
Tug in the core
Core of my soul
and claimed
Claimed all of it
it took Root
Root sprout weed
Weed bore flower
and proclaimed
Proclaimed a little
Little Reward
Reward of me
me of my Heart
And exchanged
Exchanged my blue
Blue changed Hue
Hue Turned Red
Red is the one
of love
