You Poem by Victoria Hughes

You

Rating: 3.5

Each day I read you,
I stare across and imagine
What you are going through
Inside that head of yours.

I consider the possible scenarios
That you mention are in your dreams,
I consider what you are thinking
When you mention the moonlit streams.

I wonder if you wonder
What I am thinking too,
I wonder if you consider
The grass and it's shimmering dew.

I lie by your side
And contemplate what is in your head,
I close my eyes and dream
As we lie here together in bed.
