I’ve liked you since the day that we met.
Since that day my year has been set.
My goal has been to be the only one for you,
And for you to be the only one for me too.

I would treat you right, day in and day out.
You’d be my queen and would never pout.
I’d never set rules, so you wouldn’t feel cheated.
With trust and love is how you should be treated.

The only rule would be to be yourself, perfect to me every way.
That’s all I ask, because I love you more and more every day.
I just want happiness for you instead of sadness and grief.
So ill make this really easy, simple and very brief.

I love you more than I have ever loved anyone in my life.
I love you more than I think a husband would love his wife.
What I am saying is that noone loves you like I do.
All I want is that one chance to finally be with you.

You’d be my one and only, the one I call my own.
I’d show you all of the love you need to be shown.
You won’t ever regret it, if we are ever to be.
That’s the promise I make, to you from me.
