I tell you that I love you,
And what do I get back?
I don't want to lose you,
But you stabbed me in the back.

Sorry for offending you,
But you didn't have to be cruel.
Only because I love you,
Was why you were so cruel.

Can I help how I feel about you?
Really, I don't think I can.
Will I ever get through to you?
Probably not, but trying I can.

This poem may make no sense to you,
But it comes from deep in the heart.
The person I choose to love is you,
And you're also to possess my heart.

Why am I telling all of this to you?
You'll probably just go tell others.
There is just something about you,
That makes you special compared to others.

No matter what, I'll always love you.
Please don't try to stop these feelings.
The one for me is clearly you,
But you have different feelings.
