Families are drifting apart,
Friends possess your heart.
Everyday you feel the pain,
Nothing can keep you sane.

Now you are failing school.
You only follow one rule:
Be true to yourself and God,
Never answer with a nod.

Enemies were once friends,
But this is where the road bends,
Taking you to a better place,
Where not everything is a race.

Knowing there is something to fear,
You always keep someone near.
Whether they are real or fake,
What is given, you will take.

A girl is always on your mind,
But she is not always so kind.
You see her walk down the hall,
And all your heart does is fall.

She means everything to you,
But she's the reason you're blue.
Forget about her and move on,
Because it'll be better with her gone.
