You always pop up no matter where I am.
You always pop up no matter what I’m doing.
You always pop up around me, even when we’re miles apart.
You always pop up when I least expect it.
You always pop up like you know I don’t want to think about you,
look at you,
talk to you;
talk about you.
You always knew what to say to help me.
You always knew what I was thinking.
Do you still know?
You always are there to haunt me.
You always knew how to make me smile.
You always knew right when to kiss me,
laugh at me,
tickle me,
hold my hand,
lend your shoulder;
just listen to me ramble.
How did you stand it?
You always could predict when I was having a bad day.
You always gave me advice when I asked you.
You always knew just what to say.
You always could make me smile.
You always made me feel safe.
You always put me first.
You always wanted my friends to be in harmony with both of us.
