You And I Poem by melinda mackey

You And I

When you talk to me you have all of my attention.
there's so much I want to say back. It's just too much to mention.
You tell me your secrets and I tell you mine.Though some are kept inside,
and then exspressed on blue lines.
When you are alone with me.
I'm silent more than usually.
But some how your curiosity leads youright inside of me.
It's like you get all of the clues.
You just don't put them together.
But that's ok. I want it to stay.
Because boyfriends go.
And bestfriends like you last for-ever!
