Wether the moon be out and the sun is shining
I lay beside you my feelings not hiding.
For you are my angel from way up above
God sent you to me on the wings of a dove
You make me calm and you make me whole
when this world and the people in it hurt my soul
For the people in this world are mean and hateful
In your arms I feel safe and cool
You are my angel in this world and nothing anybody
could do could take away my girl
For many have tried and many have failed cause
They don't recognize your the wind that keeps my ship
on lifes sea at sail. My heart crys out to you everytime
Something goes wrong. I so want our life to go right
Just like a song. When discouragement and persecution
Come in to play. I try my damndest to make it all go away.
And when I fail and the torture of life takes over, Your warm
Comforting emrace and smile make me calm and sober.
You are my angel who came into my heart and made life
new again right from the start tho trouble lerks near every
step along the way, You are my angel and you always know
what to do and say. I know sometimes I try to be the man
but you've got me in the palm of your hand. For you are my angel
who floated down from the sky and we'll be together forever until this world
we say goodbye
