You Are Not Fine Poem by Whitney Davis

You Are Not Fine

Rating: 4.0

To me your life
Means more than mine.
Drop the knife.
Quit saying you’re fine.

Everyone is blind.
They don’t see the cuts.
They’ve lost their minds,
Those mangy mutts.

I don’t want to see
Them hurting you.
If they were to ask me,
I’d refuse to.

You’re too important
To be treated this way.
They couldn’t,
If I had a say.

To me your life
Means more than mine,
So drop the knife.
I already know you are not fine.
