Few week ago, I had it all figured out.
Had the love of my life by my side.
Our love was strong, I had no doubt
Believed you will always be beside.

Today I sit alone, staring at the blank wall.
There is emptiness all around me.
No matter how hard I cry out and call.
You are gone and loneliness is all what I can see.

You were the rhythm to the beating my lonely heart
You were the one I called my only true soul mate.
You were the one from who I never wanted to be apart.
My love and heart to you did I dedicate.

But now I look at a future without you anywhere near.
My love is lost and my soul mate gone.
Your heart is gone cold and my cries you will never hear.
In spite of all your promises, you have left me alone.

Everyday I come to work and stand before your seat.
I recollect how you turned back and at me you looked.
Every time our eyes met, I missed a heartbeat.
You knew I missed that beat and so back you smiled.

Will I ever hold you in my arms again?
Will I be able to look into your eyes and say I love you?
Will I ever be able brush the hair out your face again?
All the moments we shared, will we ever relive it again?

You know my love for you will never die.
Even though I know, you I have lost and there is no hope.
I hold on to every little single thing you have left behind.
Memories of you are carved on to the walls of my heart.

I gave you my heart for safekeeping.
You promised you locked it in your heart and threw the keys away.
But today I realise you find my love despising
And my heart you have shredded into so many pieces and thrown away.

Your love for me may have been just meaningless words.
You may have fallen out of love all so fast.
But every word I said, I meant and came from the depth of heart.
And you always be safe deep down in my heart.
