You asked of me today,
Exposed like never seen,
If that really was your wish,
Then I would walk around,
With my head in the clouds,
Forever in a dream.
I caught a glimpse today:
A sharp flash in the pan.
Then I was back there, and sane,
On that wall again
And my brow melted into the sand.
I saw you grow young today:
Understated shyness.
Iron strength of your mind,
New left to unwind,
Innocence: Your face now brightest.
I saw you hide today:
Pulled back from your leap.
Nervous smile replaces,
Assured, emotive faces,
As you look at your innocent feet.
I travelled far today,
And witnessed a lucid dream.
Never again will I travel
And see your mystery unravel
But I am blessed with what I have seen.
