You Beckon So... Poem by Regis Auffray

You Beckon So...

You beckon so
Though you may not know
I am drawn
Outside
I hear the song of the night
The sigh of the moon
I’ve never heard before
You
The hush of the brook
Revived
From recent rains
Just down the path
Where I would walk with you
Whispers your name
Now
My soul wants to tell the world
About you
Are not here
I cannot hold you close to me
But I feel you
Within me
This moon
These stars
Of mine
They are the same for you
So you see
My love
We are together
When you beckon so…
