You approached me oneday
and said you were going away
Years we spent together went to waste
there was someone else after whom you chased

You left me empty and alone
abandoned I stayed at home
Not wanting to believe you're gone
just leaving everything undone

I'm sorry that you went away
that I couldn't convince you to stay
my heart is heavy with misbelieve
it's crying out, I'm filled with grief
I hope your happy without me
as long as I don't have to see
Your face, your eyes or your smile
hear your voice for a while
you hurt me so
I hope you know
that for you alone
I build a throne
carried you high
now I sob and cry,

I'm sorry that we had to part
even more so that you broke my heart
