You But You Poem by Farzaneh Doosti

You But You

I'm losing you every day in
unavailing repetition of an image
I'm losing you every moment in blue
And your sudden reappear in
Orange concept of a fish!

I see you in every margin, autumn, earth
Yet losing you very often
With an echo of a smile.
Then I want you with a fear
- yellowish - of reunion.

I'm losing you, losing
You in hollow eyeballs of a mask
Rehearsing you on a piece of lineless paper
- Puberty of your image in a frame.

And I know but I only know
It's not getting enchaining you,
Unavailing repetition of your image!

I'm losing you on the road
May I catch you in the air...
