You Can'T Explain But I Understand - Poem by Masroor Shafi
Incorrigible character…, I saw
Through my whole life. I know you
Are serious, So am I…!
Observing is just a ridiculous,
When you have interest of worse.
So, I stopped myself in the affair…
This environment, this atmosphere,
You are in is just an illusion.
I call you living dead machine!
What not I call you that? You are…
You are… you are…
But this is up to you, as everything is,
Mortal. Mortal is concern what you,
Think about me.
Mortal am I. Mortal are you,
I know what your eyes,
Say when they address your
Tears to roll down,
On your face…!
So deep wound is calling me.
But my ears now speak.
They speak to thy cries;
Which I can't see…
I know, you are waiting for a day.
A day that is too long,
To travel. When sun will flicker for us,
For you and for me.
The day, when I will be grown,
Our miseries we are facing today.
The Day, we dream for us,
This will be practical…!
I know… what thee think to be.
In order to bestow me what will
Be really mine.
And I would share,
A much of it to thy wishes
You worry, this time as time
Which is far from sun rise.
That is too past, that puts me
In think, whether I am
Right for thy fate.
This suffering, these miseries,
These insults are mine…
Which thee received,
And if they are,
Don't lookdown on me, my fate
I will seek water in east and west.
Looking here and there,
Finding joys for you,
I may strive…!
As I live to end of your last
Breathe, which will say…!
Not let your wife struggle for anything.
And I will … as I always understand
You, your expressions and emotions
