You Did Poem by S.M. Riggin

You Did

No matter what you do,
I can not forget that I love you.
Everytime you look and smile,
I'm just saying it might take a while.
You put a damepning on my heart,
what you did was a total restart.
I'm not saying i wont forgive,
because without you I can't live.
The look in your eyes fill me with pain,
why oh why did you have to be so vain.
you didn't have to feed me that lie
just to find out about some other guy.
There are so many dots to connect
you could have given me that much respect.
You didn't leave it alone,
all that night my heart did moan.
You teared my heart in half,
i can't believe all you did was laugh
still, no matter what YOU DO
there will always be a place in my heart just for you.
