You Do What You Can Poem by Michael Pruchnicki

You Do What You Can

Rating: 0.5

That's what the guru said
after he'd finished a pint
or two of draught porter
at the Harp & Shamrock

'You control what you can;
what you can't control
you must ignore
for the sake of your soul! '

He said, 'Read A.E. Housman's
stuff and you'll get my drift.
Drink your ale and gin straight
and pace the earth till it ends! '

Interesting. Think I've got that pacing part down. Don't know about the straight gin part yet.
