You don’t know it
But I’m falling apart
At the seams
I wish you to sing me to sleep
To follow me
Into my dreams
Put me under your spell
I beg of you, hurry
I want these lines of reality
To become soft and blurry
Sing me a sweet melody
To haunt me in my sleep
Something to keep me under
When I’m drowning in the deep
I’m losing you so fast
But I can’t keep from staying away
Nothing is ever meant to last
Please don’t beg me to stay
On your knees and crying
You know what will keep me here
But regret stays forever
Ice can’t shed a tear
