You Don't Know What I Feel Poem by Liam Roybal

You Don't Know What I Feel

You don't know what I feel
The pain that's going on inside me
Every word I say taste bitter
Sometimes I might go ballistic

At night, I pour my feelings out
Getting all the acrimonious things out of me
I can only comfort myself
Wishing someone could be there for me

You don't know what I feel
All the pain going inside of me
You might think I'm hostile
I don't care a bit

The darkness surrounds me
Leaving me to reflect on me
Of all the enraging feelings
Going on inside me

My cold heart
Longs to be warmed
With Joy and Happiness

What I feel
Is constantly being fueled
With darkness
Does it look like I care?
Maybe

I might be the cause for this pain
Or it was you
But it doesn't matter anyways
Or does it?

You might think I Hate
But Hate is a strong word
I prefer Distaste

You don't know what I feel
Maybe no one will
Deep down inside me
I have a feeling
That you and everyone will understand
Hope
