You don't understand
You never do
I try to explain
But I can't get it through to you
I pretend i'm okay
only because I know you don't want to hear what I have to say
Sometimes the people closest to you make you feel the worst
I thought they would be the ones there for me first
Life is as emotional as the rain clouds in the sky
Too many feelings you just want to pass by
Pain can be like a ghost
You try to run away from it but it always comes back to haunt you
I know life is unfair
But some things are hard to bear
You don't understand
You never do
But I hope I can make it through
