You Don'T Understand - Poem by Jade Blaydes
You say that you 'understand' when I know you don't,
Because to fully understand someone you have to hear their story,
from their prospective,
See what they have seen,
feel what they have felt,
hear the torture that they have heard,
live their life in their shoes,
think the thoughts that they have once thought,
dream their dreams,
fight their fights,
and live with the scars, emotionally and mentally.
Therefor you do not understand if you don't even know.
