You enveloped me
When others would flee
You were all steady
Though I was heady.
I hassled you long
But you bore the wrong
You studied my moods
I doubted you could.
I was tiresome
Not at all handsome
But you braved the hook
Never once forsook.
I owe you my life
You will be my wife
It used to be tears
But love stills our fears.
