i write this with painful eyes
and it will be the same pain
that sends you off
where the winds of change shall
take you and i do not ask any questions
when you are coming back
or where you are going

this is the journey of freedom
the journey of a leaf which has fallen
from a dead tree and now shall take
the course of the river to the sea
to nowhere

you shall take it now as i have taken it before
until you find the center of your universe

i do not even ask that you shall remember me.
