You I Dreamt Poem by kwane Lamb

You I Dreamt

Moments of unrest I do my best…
To keep my heart (still) in my chest…
To recite from memory…
A dream…a reclining…
And your garden soft and warm…
You full in my arms…there is no harm…
What I dreamt was very concise…
Reciprocating our love through the night…
A reassuring for sure…
Can dreams come true?
That is something only you can do…
A touch here and touch there…
Oooo, Weee I do declare…
Pure bliss…Love is this…
I wish me well…
You've made your sale…
I say you are my gal…
Now I understand what magic means…
If I've only seen it in a dream…
You got that slide of hand…
And yes…I am your man…
In your heart is where I stand…
Even only in a dream…
But you, and your beauty are forever seen…
Keep your head clear…my dear…
