You Knew Me



You knew me in ways others didn’t
You were my shoulder to cry on
My knight that saved me when I was a damsel in distress,
My rock and refuge when the pain was more than I could bear,
You saw me cry and comforted me
You made me laugh at a joke you made
You were a true friend.
