You Know It's Bad Poem by Clive Culverhouse

You Know It's Bad

Rating: 5.0

you know
it's bad when your
guardian angel runs

I often wonder
how quiet is it
right before the end

that brief pause
just before
extinction

the universe takes
a double-take
in disbelief, in sadness

but I'm
drinking wine
in another time

I don't dread
the silences
just the paper seats
