As long as we live, breathe.
and take part in life
its guaranteed that we'll either
post a letter, send an e/mail
bother about appointments
check the time
keep an eye on the date
consider the weather etc.etc.

When keeping an important doctors appointment
Facing a crucial interview
Waiting for some considerable result
Don't panic about it days in advance

Just remember
So long as night follows day
And the seasons change with regularity
The earth is guaranteed to be spinning on its axis

And before you know it
that important doctor's appointment, crucial interview,
or, considerable result
will have come and gone
leaving you wondering what your anxiety was all about?

But, rather than learn from experience
you'll indulge yourself
and, feel better when you're free to get worked up over
the next lot of urgent matters to contend with
