You Lost Me Poem by Pallavi Sarkar

You Lost Me

I silently see you while you are going,
Leaving the land you promised to hold forever.
There came a earthquake,
Inside me which meant to stop you.
But you are gone.

You should have punished me
If I had did something wrong.
But you gave a willingly
A gift for lifetime which was going,
To empty me inside everyday.

That day my whole body wanted something,
Wanted to stop you like it is carving for you.
But a part of my soul wanted something else,
It wanted you to leave me forever
You know why? ? ?

Because it had understood that
You had lost me not I had lost you.
