You no longer recognise me
You no longer recognise me
When I talk to you in your sleep
With a conscious thought so shallow
And breathing o' so deep
You no longer recognise me
When I touch your hair
You seem to forget the past
Or it's because you no longer care
You no longer recognise me
When I come and touch your feet
You awake and are aware I'm there
As if your heart has missed a beat
You no longer recognise me
But you're always in my thought
You miss me and I love you so
But my life was just cut short
You no longer recognise me
When I visit this earthly ground
Be patient and be aware I'm there
When you hear a gracious sound
