You...Poor, Earth Poem by Majid Gaggi

You...Poor, Earth

You
You poor
You Poor, earth
O land of good
Giving and donations
How much I hurt you
I the human being
Since I was founded
And inhabited here
I just got used to take from you
Good and all good
And only give to you
Harmful and painful things
Which hurts you?
Submissive with joy
To give me every good thing willingly
How poor and nice are you...
O you, poor earth
Taking from you fresh air
Giving you only Gases and vapors
Harmful and toxic
To rise your temperature
Taking pure water from you
And I give you
Water contaminated with toxic...
And stagnant
Taking every useful items
And I give you
Harmful waste and garbage
Deformation and damage
Your nice and beautiful face
O you, poor earth
O of this unequal equation
And unbalanced exchange
Give and take... disproportionately
What a great selfishness
And atheistic to your favor
And generosity
In contrast than that
What a great giving
And your rewards
The good and the great...
You never dismay, or feel weariness
Or complain
O you, poor earth
I'm working very hard
And trying to change and mangling
Your face and your nature
Beautiful and charming
What a great idiocy
The gravity of my bad and shameful
Actions Towards you
Haughty unjust towards you
Oh gracious... You
I the human being
O you, poor earth
