You’re A Fool To Yourself (1)

Backsliding is satanic joy
Rebellion’s wage for sin
Who recognise their master’s ploy
May take a step to win

There is a race that must be won
A war that must be fought
So who’ll give up The Fathers Son
And be by Satan caught

You’re fooling no one else but you
No matter how you frown
There’s no one blind to what you do
And God is no man’s clown

To blame there’ll be but you alone
Of course you understand
You know without life’s Corner Stone
No house can ever stand

So why pretend and act this way
You’ve known God’s Son as Lord
Though many times He’s heard you pray
You too will feel His sword

Repent and turn to Christ your face
Give up your foolish fight
Receive once more The Father’s grace
Receive His guiding Light

There is no other way my friend
No way to find than this
Allow in truth your knee to bend
Accept Salvation’s kiss

The kiss of life that will not cease
God’s Fire to burn your shame
With Jesus’ love His joy and peace
Receive a brand new name ……P.T.O.
