It doesn’t not matter what we say
It doesn’t take the pain away
We try so hard not to cry
When some one close to you does die

The outcome is always the same
Your heart does ache we all feel your pain
Don’t distress just let it out
We will comfort you there is no doubt

Family friends that’s what we’re for
To lean upon your needs are more
A friendly shoulder a little chat
Even just to talk about this and that
