You´re Still Here - Poem by Nina gáspari

Day after day
I can still remember my silent pray
Nights in and loud nights out
I can still remember what we were talking about
And you´re still here,
Kiss after kiss
I remember dreaming of something like this
To surrender and surrender
Random unafraid thoughts, too meaningless to remember
But you´re still here
Love after love
I remember believing it was enough
Time after time
Promises too precious to be made mine
You´re still…here.
