You’re The Reason 1/6/09 Poem by Sam Fer

You’re The Reason 1/6/09

It is ourselves before another.
It’s been deceit before each other.
There’s been no change before repair
Why can’t we break this its unfair.

You are the strength I need to keep.
You are the floor beneath my feet.
You are the reason I’m not weak.
You are the voice that lets me sleep.

I love you more; than time has known, I swear.
Stay by me, it’s your loss of which I fear.
Now hold me tight and never let me go.
Now pull me close, and speak the words I know.

Look at me delicately, at this beautiful wreak.
And glide your hand around my neck.
Wipe my tears seeping through.
And tell me, Baby, I’m the only one for you.

As I bare my arms, I long for your presence.
I know I need you, suffocation at your evanescence.
As I seal my eyes, I know the blueprint of your being.
I know where to place my finger, without even seeing.

I live for your life, breathe for your breath.
Without you, I’d be conscious of a silent death.
You know you’re my passion, you carry my soul.
I’m glued to this perception, beyond my control.
