You Saved Me From Myself Poem by Anya Nikolaevna

You Saved Me From Myself

Rating: 4.5

You pulled me
out of the dark.

I was one step
away from falling
into the void;
from losing myself.

You lit up
my world
and saved me
from myself.

All I could see
was anger,
all I see now
is calmness.

All I could feel
was loneliness,
all I feel now is warmth.

You lit up my world and saved me from myself. The negatives of our lives can eat us up.. when you say you save me from myself .. a poet undestands it as all that is negative that kills us in our lives........ thank you for this psychological poem. dear poetess. tony
