Oh, are we inclined?
Tell me, did we succeed?
Tell me, what did we find?
We came back, with all the things,
We didn't really need
Oh, have we preserved the naivety?
No, I'm afraid not
We were rather haunted by duplicity
And we found ourselves caught
Stuck; Somewhere in between,
The people we are,
The people we thought,
We would be
But, the eyes they have seen,
The glitter of the stars,
Yet, the legs,
Are adamantly,
Tied to the ground
Oh, are we inclined?
Tell me, did we succeed?
Tell me, what did we find?
We came back, with all the things,
We didn't really need
