You, The Sun Poem by Dan Brown

You, The Sun

Rating: 3.0

So prominent in so many people's life, yet
so inanimate you're rarely acknowledged.
Strange.
Considering you're the centre of your Universe
and all.
You're so self-assured that everything relies on you and
needs you to survive.
You're so full of self-importance that you believe everything
is linked to you, and you're special beyond all else.
You're so arrogant that you believe everything
revolves around you.
I've got news for you.
It doesn't.

I assume you are talking about men here Dan? lol This made me smile. I was called a satelite that revolved around my husband, who was my sun! lol Not any more, much to my sorrow. This is a statement a lot of people could learn a lot about themselves from. Good teachings,10 from Tai
