You Told What Was On Your Mind - Poem by George Jerone (Brother DeBuff) Jefferson

Words that bust my bubble
You telling that I'm not all that
You were pretending to be in love
Guess what so was I
I read you a long time ago
With your baby this and baby that
You act your part good
Your reward not having me
In your life
Lover I'm gone gone
You lost trust of one love
That didn’t play part
Of a fool
I just walk away from your unreal self
Running for my life
See I don’t need the drama
Curtain time on this relationship
It over now for good
No second chance goodbye
Mean just that
See you see you
No tears reach me
Keep your sorry to your self
As I will keep my love for someone else
