You were the light
That brightened up the darkness in my life
You were the joy that brought a smile to my face
You were the positivity that extracted all negative feelings within me

You were the love of my life
And when I lost you, it cut like a knife
It hard knowing that you’re gone
And the only thing that keeps me strong

Is the fact that you still live on
In my memories and in my heart
I shall never ever let you part
