You Were My Everything” - Poem by Stephanie Kravitz

What is going on in your head?
I miss you terribly.
Do you even love me anymore?
I wanna be your friend.
I wish you could see the side of you that I see.
In your eyes I see a soul.
That was perfect for mine.
I just wanted to hold you.
I just wanted to love you.
I just wanted to be your everything.
I just wanted to talk to you.
I think you still have feelings for me too.
Please don’t run away.
You’ve broken my heart too many times before.
You were my everything.
Do you know how much I’d miss you so?
Those beautiful eyes entwined with mine.
That sparkle in your eye was gleaming at me.
I know we grew apart.
It still hurts to know it is over.
I never left your side.
I’ll go run and hide in those memories of joy and good up bringing.
What ever happened to that laugh I loved so dear?
Please don’t run away.
I just wanted to hold you.
I just wanted to love you.
I just wanted to be your everything.
I just wanted to help you.
I just wanted to talk to you.
I think you still have feelings for me to……..
You’ve helped me in so many ways.
I just wanted to return the favor.
Your love was all I need then.
Our souls were once as one.
You leave me with my own demise.
Your love has helped me conquer my worst fears.
What is it going to take to get you to stay in my life?
You once was my one and only.
Don’t run away
I just wanted to hold you.
I just wanted to love you.
I just wanted to be your everything.
I just wanted to help you.
I just wanted to talk to you.
I think you still have feelings for me too.
Please stay with me.
Please……..please don’t run away.........
Please don’t run away.
