Madelyn Moon (My Dog) Poem by Stephanie Kravitz

Madelyn Moon (My Dog)

Rating: 5.0

Her big wet brown nose.
Her big brown eyes.
Her wagging tail.
And her silly ways.
When her ears would perk up.
Whenever she would here her name.
Her cute little face she’d make.
Is only a little part.
Of what makes her who she is.
When she gets into trouble.
She’d come running behind me.
Hoping she isn’t found.
But she’s hoping never to be found.
But in the end.
She’s always caught.
Lessons are taught.
The ways she’d come up to me.
With her lovable ways.
Her companionship has meant the world to me.
She was always their for me.
When ever I was sad
Or started to cry.
She’d come running up to me
And lick my face.
It is the most adorable thing.
Every day I’m around her.
It’s a blessing to me.
Even though she’s a dog.
She’s my bestest friend.
And that will never change.
She’d save me in a heartbeat.
And So would I.
Her innocent ways.
Are always the most adorable thing you’ll ever see.
