Young Life Poem by Weldon Davis

Young Life

Young life
Gone to waste
Bitter pill to swallow
Nothing to chase it down
Mama's baby
Mama can't save you now

Friends run away
Friends say they'll
Miss ya much
Friends are really out of touch

Screw face
Mirror broke
Realization of
A nightmare awoke
Sharp pain
Dull knife
Open wound soul bleeding
Gone to waste
Young life
