Youonlygetonce Poem by Birne Moi

Youonlygetonce

The end, they say, is always a beginning, too
The growth, as black is the absence of light
-But on paper absence mourns in white-
That still means nothing when death wants you

Much can be done, with a matchbox and knife:
Cut out your worries - just do what's right
Find all your fears - turn them to light;
Who is to blame, if you took your life?

And the moon never shines on it's own
They call it love, hostile dependency, far from the norm -
Then it's no surprise, that I have always been wrong?
Am I changing to disappear or grow?
