Your Back Pocket Poem by sara sbriglio

Your Back Pocket

Rating: 4.5

here i stand, waiting
wishing i could be enough
wishing i could have enough
just to hold you near me for just a little while longer

but the way you left me was like the ground beneath me disapeared.
you walked away with not just the memories,
but with my heart tucked in your back pocket.

the perfect words never crossed my mind, their was nothing but you.
every ounce of me screamed and shouted out for you.

but their was nothing left.
