Your C.A.M Poem by Connie Chambers

Your C.A.M

Black and blue
with a heart hurt
and cold as ice
I spoke to a boy
I thought to be rather nice

My heart grew warm
when he smiled at me
But he was scorn
and never let me see
who he was really out to be

Time past on as I fought to please
that trobled boy that was out to seage

He broke my heart
with a long strongh blow

I was hurt but didnt tell
you knew that and began to sow,
sow the seams of my torn heart
so that we could have a new start

Six shor months have flown on by
and since that night on the dance floor
im riding this great high
back to the day when
you drove down and
all i could say was 'hi'

I love you with all my heart,
snince i met you im makeing
a brand new start
