Your Eyes Poem by Lana Wesley

Your Eyes

Your eyes they are like a deep ocean
Yet me in them is a bad fortune
I won't be able that ocean to cross
But to take me away there's no force

Your eyes - my forgetting way
When I look into them I'm not the same
Your gaze comes through me straight
A single thought just won't escape

Your eyes - your weapon against me
And you don't hesitate to keep
One wave of eyelashes all you need
To bring me to immediate retreat

Your eyes - my guard so tight
That won't leave me on day or night
In deepest sleep I even see
Those eyes that looking straight at me
