Your Love's Masterpiece (Sonnet #227) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Your Love's Masterpiece (Sonnet #227)

You see details in me I fail to notice,
Little things you like in me, I see not.
But your soul blooms my soul as a lotus,
And I start to love myself when I did not.

Does a flower know she's magnificent?
Does she realise she's lovers' best muse?
Can she perceive her delightful scent
Without others acclaiming her virtues?

I'm a flower who grows through love in your eyes,
My scent matches the sweetness in your heart.
I was born to love you without disguise,
I'm your love's masterpiece and piece of art.

A flower dies when sown on infertile soil;
The woman in me thrives, dwelling in your soul.
